Weekend Community Care Assistant

Company Description

Guaranteed Minimum 10 Hours | Paid Travel Time & Mileage

£13.65 per hour PLUS paid travel time, waiting time and 35p mileage allowance.

A driving licence and access to a vehicle is essential for this community-based role.

At Home Instead Pocklington & Brough, we believe care should never be rushed.

Our visits are always a minimum of one hour, giving you the time to genuinely get to know your clients, build meaningful relationships and provide outstanding person-centred care.

Due to continued growth, we are now looking for caring, reliable and committed individuals to join our team on a guaranteed minimum 10-hour contract.

Working Pattern

This role requires consistent availability across:

• Every Saturday and Sunday
• Morning Shift 8:15am – 2:15 pm or
• Evening Shift 4:00pm – 10:00pm

Job Description

What Does the Role Involve?

As a Home Instead Care Professional, you will support older people to remain safe, happy and independent in their own homes.

Support may include:

• Companionship
• Personal care
• Meal preparation
• Medication support
• Shopping and errands
• Supporting clients to access the community
• Helping clients maintain independence and dignity

No two days are the same, but every day is meaningful.
