Job Description
What you'll be doing:
Weβre looking for a highly motivated and experienced assistant financial controller to join the team on a fixed term 9-month contract. Responsibilities will include:
- Supervising the Finance team in daily operations
- Supporting with Payroll, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable and Cashiering.
- Developing and monitoring all financial systems
- Improve systems and processes to enhance each departmentβs profitability.
- Maintaining internal controls, credit limits and compliance
- Preparing accurate and timely monthly accounts
- Assist with completing monthly financial statements
- Providing financial advice and support to management
Qualifications
What you'll bring to the role:
- Previous experience as an AFC/Senior Accountant
- Proven ability to train and develop team members
- Ability to effectively time manage large volume work load
- Able to maintain calm composure while working under tight deadlines
- Excellent Microsoft Office skills
- High level of interpersonal & communication skills
- Relevant tertiary qualification (desirable, however not essential)
