Job Description
Assist in the preparation of ingredients for Indian sweets and desserts, including washing, peeling, chopping, and measuring ingredients.
Support senior Halwais in preparing traditional Indian sweets, desserts, and other confectionery items.
Maintain a clean and organized workstation, adhering to food safety and hygiene standards.
Learn and apply basic Halwai techniques under the guidance of experienced chefs.
Assist in the proper storage and labelling of ingredients, semi-prepared items, and finished products.
Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure smooth operations during service hours.
Help with kitchen inventory, monitor ingredient availability, and restock supplies as needed.
Assist in preparing traditional Indian sweets and desserts according to local tastes and preferences in Lucknow.
Participate in daily kitchen briefings and contribute ideas for improving sweet and dessert preparations.
Qualifications
•Diploma / Degree in Hotel Management or any other equivalent qualifications
•2-4 year of experience in branded hotels and minimum 1 year experience in similar role.
•Strong leadership skills with experience in team management and mentoring.
Additional Information
2-3 Years of experience in hotel catering sales.
