职位描述

Primary Objective
主要目标：
    Lead strategic projects and business development initiatives supporting the sustainable growth of the Lingang factory.
    Responsible for capacity expansion projects, manufacturing development initiatives, NPD/NPI project management, and cross-functional strategic programs to ensure business growth objectives are achieved.
    Analyze operational performance, identify development opportunities, and support future Operational Excellence initiatives through Continuous Improvement and Lean Six Sigma methodologies.
    Support implementation of the Lingang growth roadmap, ensuring manufacturing capability, capacity, resources, processes, and technologies are developed in alignment with long-term business requirements.

Main Tasks and Responsibilities:
Project Management
•    Lead and manage strategic projects related to plant growth, manufacturing capability enhancement, business development, and operational improvement.

•    Develop project plans, establish milestones, monitor progress, and ensure timely project delivery.
•    Manage project scope, budget, timeline, risks, and stakeholder expectations.
•    Coordinate cross-functional project teams and drive project execution through effective communication and governance.
•    Provide regular project reporting to plant management and relevant stakeholders.
Manufacturing Development and Capacity Expansion
•    Lead or support plant expansion and ramp-up projects to meet future business growth requirements.
•    Evaluate manufacturing capacity, production flow, facility utilization, equipment requirements, and manpower planning.
•    Research, evaluate, and recommend investments in manufacturing technologies, automation, equipment, and production systems.
•    Support implementation of approved capital investment projects and strategic development initiatives.
•    Participate in factory layout planning and manufacturing process optimization activities.
NPD / NPI Project Management
•    Lead assigned New Product Development (NPD) and New Product Introduction (NPI) projects from planning to successful production implementation.
•    Coordinate activities among Engineering, Production, Quality, Supply Chain, Procurement, and Product Management functions.
•    Ensure manufacturing readiness and successful industrialization of new products.
•    Manage project risks and support issue resolution throughout project execution.
•    Support product ramp-up activities and achievement of production targets.
Business Development
•    Analyze market trends, competitor activities, customer requirements, and industry developments.
•    Evaluate opportunities supporting business growth and factory competitiveness.
•    Support preparation of business cases, investment proposals, and strategic development plans.
•    Participate in industry exhibitions, roadshows, trade fairs, and relevant business events.
•    Establish and maintain effective relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
Continuous Improvement and Operational Excellence
•    Initiate, participate in, or lead Continuous Improvement (CI) projects across manufacturing and support functions.
•    Utilize Lean Manufacturing and Lean Six Sigma methodologies to improve Safety, Quality, Delivery, Cost, and Productivity performance.
•    Support implementation of Operational Excellence initiatives and best practices.
•    Facilitate root cause analysis and structured problem-solving activities.
•    Promote a continuous improvement culture and data-driven decision-making process.
Other Responsibilities
•    Support strategic planning and decision-making activities within the plant management team.
•    Perform other duties assigned by the Plant Manager.
Authority
•    Recommend and manage approved project budgets within delegated authority.
•    Lead assigned project teams and coordinate cross-functional resources.
•    Recommend manufacturing investments, process improvements, and business development initiatives.
•    Escalate project risks and critical issues to plant management when required.

Awareness of ISO 14001 & 45001 standard

Essential
•    Bachelor's Degree or above.
•    Major in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Automation, Business Management, or related disciplines.
Preferred
•    Project Management Professional (PMP) certification.
•    Lean Six Sigma Green Belt certification.
•    Lean Six Sigma Black Belt certification is considered an advantage.

Experience
Essential
•    Minimum 10 years of relevant manufacturing industry experience.
•    Proven experience in project management within manufacturing environments.
•    Experience managing cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
Preferred
•    Experience in forklift, material handling equipment, construction equipment, industrial vehicles, automotive, or heavy machinery industries.
•    Experience in manufacturing expansion, industrialization, NPD/NPI, or capital investment projects.
•    Experience in multinational organizations.
•    Experience participating in or leading Continuous Improvement or Lean Six Sigma projects.
Knowledge and Skills
•    Strong project management capability.
•    Strong analytical and business evaluation skills.
•    Good understanding of manufacturing operations and industrial engineering principles.
•    Knowledge of capacity planning and manufacturing development processes.
•    Financial and business case evaluation capability.
•    Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
•    Strong presentation and reporting skills.
•    Fluent English and Chinese communication skills.
•    Proficient in Microsoft Office and project management tools.
