Pyramid Healthcare in Asheville is hiring a Substance Abuse Counselor to support individuals navigating substance use and co-occurring disorders. Join a mission-driven, team-based environment where your work directly changes lives.
What Youβll Do
- Provide individual, group, and family counseling
- Complete assessments & individualized treatment planning
- Document services in EHR (timely & compliant)
- Support aftercare planning & care coordination
- Assist with crisis intervention & LOC assessments
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary clinical team
What You Need
Licensure (Required):
- CADC-I, CADC, LCAS-A, or LCAS
Education:
- Preferred: Masterβs in Counseling, Social Work, Psychology, or related
- Accepted: Bachelorβs/Associateβs/HS Diploma with CADC or CADC-I
Plus:
- Experience with SUD, mental health, or trauma-informed care
- Strong communication & teamwork skills
